Sprinkler season is back upon us…
Every year around this time we start recieving phone calls from customers who have no water. Irrigation sprinkler systems use a lot of water. A lot more than is used in most households the rest of the year. This can stir up your well and result in a temporary blast of dirty sediment filled water. The increased dirt in the water can plug up Filters and Water Softeners to the point to where there is low water pressure. Sometimes the static level in the well will drop so low that the pump cannot keep up the flow demand of the home, also resulting in low pressure. If you see a drop in water pressure right after turning on you irrigation for the season don’t hesitate to call us. In most cases its an easily solvable situation. Enjoy your great water.
