Watch out for things you can’t see. A little bit of Bacteria goes a long way. Always sterilize your plumbing any time there has been a break in the pipes that could allow bacteria in. If you replace your pump, have some plumbing done, put in a new faucet, or just change a filter Cartridge. A little bit of Bleach can keep people from getting really sick. Of course you wont want to drink the bleach, but you can flush it out quickly and still avoid a real problem. Anytime you change a cartridge add a couple ounces of Bleach to the sump and then flush it out through a faucet. Sterilize your work and enjoy your great water.
